Infant-Child CPR Classes Offered At Hospital

St. Joseph's Hospital-North is offering the ilfe-saving class through May.

With warmer months comes more water activties.

Safety precautions are a must when children take to the water. As a precaution, St. Joseph's Hospital-North is offering courses for infant and children CPR.

The course, offered throughout May, will teach how to perform lifesaving CPR and choking rescue techniques on both infants and children according to American Heart Association guidelines.

Participants must be at least 9 years old. Registration is required.

Cost: $30 per person ($55 per couple.)

The next CPR class is offered May 7, from 6 to 0 p.m. at St. Joseph's Hospital-North, 4211 Van Dyke Rd. in Lutz.
