Plastic Surgeon Brings Medical, Cosmetic Services to Lutz
Dr. John Roach Jr. opened his new office in July. He offers everything from facials to reconstructive and cosmetic surgery.
There's a new doctor in town, and he's here to make you look—and feel—good.
Plastic surgeon Dr. John B. Roach Jr. recently opened Bayside Plastic Surgery in the Ballantrae Professional Offices in Lutz, after spending the past five years at Bayonet Point in Hudson.
Roach, a breast reconstruction specialist, wanted to offer more cosmetic services to his patients, and the space in Lutz is perfect for both the medical and the spa services, office manager Nicole Santiago said.

He has a special place in his heart for his breast cancer patients, a lot of whom come to him by referral for reconstruction, then stay with him for cosmetic services.
"He works really hard to bring the spirits of these women back up," Santiago said.

In the past five years, Roach has grown quite a base from referrals, with some entire families coming to see him for everything from Botox to scar correction to facial reconstruction. As a board-certified general surgeon, a plastic surgeon and hand specialist, he is a very diverse doctor, she said.
And he's the first plastic surgeon to set up shop in the Lutz area.
"We have a lot to offer the community," Santiago said. "The biggest things is letting people know we're here."
Roach has a holistic approach to well-being, and his small, close-knit staff treats patients like family, Santiago said.
"He ultimately wants to help people all the way around," Santiago said. "He's really for patient care."
