The Homestead Police Department is investigating an accidental shooting involving a juvenile.

Homestead PD said it all unfolded at an apartment in the 800 block of SW 320 Street just after 11:20 a.m. Sunday.

According to the preliminary investigation, multiple other children were in the home at the time gun went off.
