$2 Million Florida Winner As Powerball Jackpot Hits $620M

MIAMI, FL — Florida had a big winner Saturday as the Powerball jackpot soared to an estimated $620 million, or $354.3 million cash. The news comes as the Mega Millions drawing hit a record $1.6 billion.
In the Powerball drawing, Florida had a $2 million ticket winner as the jackpot will be up for grabs on Wednesday, Oct. 24, according to lottery officials. The jackpot comes after no ticket matched all the Powerball numbers drawn Saturday night – 16, 54, 57, 62, 69, Powerball: 23, Power Play: 2.

Winning tickets worth $2 million were sold in Florida and Tennessee, and $1 million winning tickets were sold in Arizona, Connecticut, Indiana, Michigan, Missouri, New Jersey and Washington.
