MIRAMAR, FL — Florida police have issued arrest warrants for former first-round NFL draft pick Deandre Baker of the New York Giants and recently acquired defensive cornerback Quinton Dunbar of the Seattle Seahawks stemming from a gun-wielding robbery with three high-end getaway cars on Wednesday night at a party near Miami.

Miramar police claimed in court documents the two NFL players were armed with semi-automatic firearms when they stole thousands of dollars in cash and pricey watches from partygoers around 11 p.m. Wednesday at a home in the Broward County community

After the robbery, court documents said the players and at least one other person fled in a Mercedes-Benz, Lamborghini and BMW that had been pre-positioned for an"immediate departure" from the area.

Baker is being sought on four counts of armed robbery with a firearm and four counts of aggravated assault with a firearm. Dunbar is wanted for four counts of armed robbery with a firearm. Both men have Florida driver licenses.

Taken were $12,400 in cash, an $18,000 Rolex, $25,000 Hublot watch, $17,500 Audemars Piguet and a copy of a Richard Mille watch valued at $600.

Court documents said Baker and Dunbar met the victims two days earlier in Miami at a different party where the football players lost about $70,000, according to court documents.

A Miramar detective said in court documents he tried to contact Baker through the cellphone of one of Baker's childhood acquaintances "but Baker refused to speak with me and immediately terminated the call."

The detective said he also tried to call both players directly on their cell phones but was unsuccessful.

"The offenders were known to the victims as professional football players in the NFL," court documents said. "This affiant could not conclusively state that Dunbar committed the offense of aggravated assault with a firearm, however, he was still an active participant in the armed robbery aiding and assisted Baker and the other unknown offenders."

Court documents said "numerous" people attended the party where people were playing cards, video games and gambling.

One witness told police he saw Baker pointing a gun at one of the attendees and was directing two other people to take money and valuables from partygoers. He also said Dunbar assisted Baker in taking money and valuables.

At one point, Baker told an "assailant in the red mask" to shoot someone, court documents said.
