3 Shot Outside IHOP In Miramar On Christmas Morning: Reports

MIRAMAR, FLA — Three people were shot at IHOP in Miramar early on Christmas morning, according to published reports.

Police told Channel 7 News Miami that they responded to the restaurant on Miramar Parkway at around 1:30 a.m. after receiving multiple calls about a shooting.

The people, whose identities have not been released, were all taken to Memorial Regional Hospital to be treated, the outlet reported.

Investigators worked the scene into the morning, using flashlights and a metal detector to search through bushes, and also towed away two cars, including a white Acura that had bloodstains on the side and a bullet hole in the trunk, Local10.com reported.

It is unclear if the shooting was targeted or random, or whether any persons of interest or suspects were identified, according to the outlet.

The shooting remains under investigation, according to Channel 7.
