Two other girls, an 8-year-old and Buchman, were also brought to the Ryder Trauma Center at Jackson right after the crash, both in critical condition.
The 8-year-old was released from the hospital on Thursday, CBS News said.
It’s uncertain when the 10-year-old died as some South American media outlets reported her death on Thursday, while her family confirmed her death over the weekend, according to reports.
The girl’s cousin, former Bal Harbour Mayor Gabriel Groisman, posted about her death to X on Sunday:
On the saddest day of the Jewish calendar, my family mourns the loss of our 10 year-old cousin Arielle, who passed away as a result of a tragic sailboat accident that occurred early in the week. Baruch Dayan HaEmet

His comment likely refers to Tisha B'Av, a Jewish day of commemoration that marks the destruction of the Holy Temple in Jerusalem, CBS said. This year, it was observed on Sunday.
The cause of the boat crash is under investigation, but toxicology reports for all involved in it came back negative, and alcohol and drugs were ruled out as a factor, reports said.
