5 People Injured In Miami-Dade Crash, 2 Seriously
Five people were injured in a Miami-Dade crash, two seriously, according to Miami-Dade Fire Rescue.

MIAMI, FL — Five people were injured Monday night, two of them seriously, in a two-vehicle crash along Biscayne Boulevard and NE 193 Street. The crash occurred around 7:40 p.m.
"When units arrived, they quickly began working on assessing the patients and on extricating a patient who was extensively pinned in one of the vehicles," said a spokesperson for Miami-Dade Fire Rescue.
A total of 12 agency units responded to the crash.

"Technical rescue crews utilized various hydraulic tools to cut and pry the metal and were able to remove the person who was trapped in one of the badly mangled vehicles," the spokesperson added.
The cause of the accident is under investigation.
