7th Grader Gets Stuck At Miami-Dade School
First responders had to be called out when a seventh grader got herself stuck in a tight space at a Miami-Dade County middle school.

MIAMI, FL — The fire department had to be called out Monday when a seventh grader got herself stuck in a tight space at a Miami-Dade County middle school.
"This involved an Arvida Middle School student who accidentally got herself stuck between a column and a wall on campus this morning," Natalia Zea of Miami-Dade County Public Schools told Patch.
Zea said the girl was stuck for about 30 minutes.

"Authorities were called to assist to free her, but the student ultimately was able to get out on her own," Zea said. "She was not injured."
Arvida has more than 1,300 students in grades six, seven and eight. The school is located at 10900 SW 127th Avenue.

A spokesperson for Miami-Dade Fire Rescue said the call came in shortly after 9 a.m. on Monday.
Zea said the school day continued after the incident.
