1. American Airlines has announced plans to bring more than 600 home-based reservations jobs to Miami. The airline currently has 200 new representatives in training and has a goal to hire more than 400 in the next couple of months. The team members will join more than 1,500 new team members hired at Miami International Airport in 2021. (Miami Patch)
2. New Miami Beach police body camera footage shows the aftermath of a brutal blow and a kick that ended with a bouncer behind bars. A bouncer slammed a hotel guest's head into the front glass door of the Nautilis by Arlo hotel last year over a dress code violation, according to authorities. Marc Vallin has been charged with two counts of aggravated battery and is awaiting trial. (WSVN)
3. The JobNewsUSA.com Job Fair will take place March 17 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the FLA Live Arena, home of the Florida Panthers. Over 100 employers will be in attendance, including the Panthers, Outback Steakhouse, the Broward Sheriff's Office and more. Applicants could possibly get hired at the event. (NBC Miami)
4. The unidentified woman who sued Chris Brown with claims he drugged and raped her on Diddy's Miami Beach-based yacht has lost her legal representation after Miami Beach police uncovered text messages that complicate her case. A Miami Beach Police spokesman declined to comment on the department's probe, calling it an active investigation. (Rolling Stone)
5. Three people were injured during a drive-by shooting and police are saying that two of the victims were in a classroom in Miami Gardens when bullets went through a glass door and then through a classroom wall. Police responded to the incident at North Gardens High School just before 2 p.m. Wednesday. (WPLG Local 10)
