Body Found In Miami Beach Condo

MIAMI BEACH, FL — A body that was was discovered in a Miami Beach condominium is being treated as a homicide, according to Shantell Mitchell of the Miami Beach Police Department.

The body was found around 6 p.m. Tuesday at the Tribeca Condominiums in the 1500 block of Michigan Avenue.

"We are treating this as a homicide and the deceased has not yet been identified," said Mitchel on Wednesday. "We are working closely with the State Attorney’s office and the Medical examiner."

Mitchell said police are not releasing additional information at this time.

A woman who lives nearby told Local 10 news that neighbors smelled a strong odor coming from the unit.
