Here are the top five stories today in Miami:
1. A plane arriving at Miami International Airport from Santo Domingo caught fire after its landing gear collapsed on Tuesday evening. The Red Air civilian transport aircraft made an emergency landing at around 5:30 p.m. Tuesday. (WSVN)
2. The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) is closing both lanes of Brickell Bridge (SR90/US 41) starting Tuesday, June 28 through Friday, July 1 and again from Tuesday, July 5 through Thursday, July 7, for maintenance. Hours are from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. on those days. (WPLG Local 10)
3. The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) and Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office are giving different accounts of an encounter with a large bear that ended with deputies fatally shooting the animal over the weekend. "It should be noted that the bear had NO place to roam safely!" the sheriff's office said in a statement, which is disputed by FWC. (NBC Miami)
4. Rosie's: The Backyard has reopened at 7127 NW 2nd Avenue that will serve as a temporary home for the restaurant while the owners renovate a historic house in Little River that will eventually house the concept. (Eater Miami)
5. Miami-based restaurateur George Sezgin is set to bring a concept to South Beach with KÓMMA, a Mediterranean kitchen and bar set to open on Friday, July 1. The menu will be led by Chef Sebastian Forero and include fire-roasted Greek dips, house-made seafood Youvetsi, a signature chicken kebab and more. (Ocean Drive Magazine)

- Work crews will temporarily close the ramp from SR-836 to I-95 northbound this week and plan to open two lanes for traffic within three to four weeks. (WSVN)
- Historic mosaics that were set to be demolished along with the rest of the Wells Fargo building at the corner of Lincoln and Alton roads in South Beach to make way for a new hotel have been saved by preservationists. The murals will be put in storage until a new home is found. (WPLG Local 10)
- Nick Fusco, a 23-year-old graduate school student, has started a cigar brand to honor his grandparents, Maria and Gonzalo Torre, who died in the tragic Surfside condo collapse. (Subscription: Miami Herald)
