Coast Guard Searches For Man Overboard

The missing man was identified as Robert McHabe.

KEY WEST, FL — The U.S. Coast Guard said on Monday that it was continuing a search for a 60-year-old man who is believed to have fallen off a boat near Key West. The missing man was identified as Robert McHabe. Officials said that the search has focused on the area of Lake Passage not far from Key West.

"Missing is Robert McHabe, 60, last seen wearing gray swim trunks and reported falling overboard a 27-foot cabin cruiser west of Key West," the Coast Guard said.

The call was received by Coast Guard Sector Key West Command Center at 6:25 p.m.on Sunday. Officials said that the crew of the cabin cruiser reported that McHabe had fallen overboard.
