Coast Guard Searches For Missing Diver Off Florida Coast
The Coast Guard has been searching since Sunday night for a missing 55-year-old man who got separated from a group of divers in Florida.

DEERFIELD BEACH, FL — The U.S. Coast Guard has been searching since Sunday night for a missing 55-year-old man who got separated from a group of divers off the Florida Coast not far from Fort Lauderdale.
"The man was diving with a group from the dive boat Lady Go Diver, but when [the] group surfaced, he did not," the Coast Guard said on Monday.
The Coast Guard said the diver was reported missing about one-half mile south of Deerfield Beach. South Florida has been experiencing rough surf conditions since Sunday.

The search was to continue throughout Monday night into Tuesday morning. The Coast Guard search team includes an Air Station Miami HC-144, MH-65 Dolphin and Coast Guard Cutter Manatee.
The Broward Sheriff's Office was also assisting with the search.
