1. Raimundo Onetto's Alta Developers plans to build a boutique waterfront condominium project in place of the closed Mid Bay Club Apartments in North Miami. Alta is envisioning a 50-unit to 90-unit high-end condominium development, according to the developer. (The Real Deal)
2. If you're flying out of Miami International Airport and plan to use its parking garages, SunPass is no longer an acceptable form of payment. Customers will soon be able to pay for parking inside the garage via self-service kiosks instead of at the collection plaza when they exit. (CBS Miami)
3. Two children along with their father have been pronounced dead at the hospital after they were found unresponsive inside a Hollywood, Florida home's swimming pool. The children were 5 and 2 years old. The tragedy remains under investigation. (WSVN)
4. Coconut Grove residents are speaking out about their concerns with the redistricting proposal which threatens to split the community into three. Miami commissioners voted 4-1 in favor of the redistricting map that leaves West Grove as is. However, commissioners left open the possibility for more changes. (WPLG Local 10)
5. An investigation is underway following a lockdown that caused mass confusion at Miami Killian Senior High School. Chaos broke out at the high school as parents fought outside the school while they waited for their children inside. The school was placed on lockdown after a weapon was sighted on campus. (WSVN)
