Coral Gables 11th Annual Tour of Kitchens Will Dazzle Palates
The 11th Annual Tour of Kitchens presented by the Coral Gables Community Foundation promises to dazzle palates on Saturday.
CORAL GABLES, FL — The 11th Annual Tour of Kitchens presented by the Coral Gables Community Foundation dazzles the palate Saturday as the upscale self-guided tour takes visitors through some of the most impressive private home kitchens in the Miami area.
"You’ll be inspired as you go inside Coral Gables’ most exquisite kitchens, indulge in the finest gourmet samplings and desserts from the city's best restaurants and shop home goods from your favorite local merchants," event organizers told Patch.
Ticket prices start at $75 with proceeds going to benefit the Coral Gables Community Foundation and its Culinary Arts Fund. The fund provides scholarships to the Culinary Arts Program at Coral Gables at Coral Gables Senior High School.

The event kicks off at 9 a.m. with breakfast and mimosas at event sponsor Infiniti of Coral Gables. The showroom is located at 2701 South Le Jeune Road.
The tour runs between 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. but features a closing party. There's no particular order to the stops.

"From a stop at the iconic Java Head home to an El Sanguich pop-up at Miele, this year’s stops will vary in style and flair, and are all deemed to be a sight to see," organizers said.
The closing party takes place at Ferguson Bath, Kitchen & Lighting Gallery on 4119 Ponce de Leon Blvd. from 1:30 p.m. to 4 p.m. The closing party will feature music, curated tastings by well-known chefs, BBQ, champagne, coffee, a specially-curated silent auction and treats.
"Restaurants will be in the running for 'Best Taste' and 'Best Treat' respectively, as voted by the tourists," organizers said. "The winners will be awarded at the Coral Gables City Commission meeting following the tour."
