Death Of Child Found In Canal Investigated In SW Miami-Dade

A call to police about a missing child became a death investigation Saturday afternoon when the body of a 4-year-old child was found in a Southwest Miami-Dade canal.

Police confirmed that it happened in the area of SW 280 Terrace & SW 141 Avenue.

Homicide detectives were at the scene investigating the death of the child.
