DUI Sweeps Planned in Northwest Miami-Dade

Miami-Dade police will be stopping cars from 6 p.m. to 2 a.m. on Thursday.

MIAMI, FL — Miami-Dade police will be stopping cars on Thursday night in rolling DUI sweeps from 6 p.m. to 2 a.m. in northwest Miami-Dade.

Detective Robin Pinkard of the Miami-Dade Police Department told Patch that officers will focus on the area along NW 103 Street between 12 Avenue and 37 Avenue.

The special enforcement will be conducted by the Miami-Dade Police Department's Motorcycle Unit under a Florida Department of Transportation grant initiative.
