FBI Searches For Bank Robber In Aventura

AVENTURA, FL — The FBI is searching for a lone bandit who held up a Wells Fargo Bank branch in Aventura over the weekend.

The robbery took place shortly after 9 a.m. Saturday. The branch is located at 2929 Aventura Blvd., according to Special Agent Michael Leverock and spokesman Jim Marshall of the FBI in Miami.

"A robber entered the bank and demanded money from a bank employee," Leverock and Marshall said.

No one was injured.

The FBI released photographs of the robber taken from surveillance cameras. The FBI would not say how much money was taken during the robbery.
