Fire Sweeps Through Miami-Dade Home
Fire swept through a Miami-Dade home early Sunday morning. The home is located in the 2200 block of NW 51 Terrace.

MIAMI, FL — Fire swept through a Miami-Dade home early Sunday morning. The home is located in the 2200 block of NW 51 Terrace.
A spokesperson for Miami-Dade Fire Rescue said the blaze erupted shortly after 4 a.m.

"When fire crews arrived, they found thick smoke and flames," the spokesperson said.
"The occupants of the home were able to escape without any injuries, however the house is no longer livable," the spokesperson added.

The Red Cross was providing temporary housing for the residents. The cause of the blaze was under investigation.
