Good Samaritan Foils Miami-Dade Carjacking
The incident occurred shortly before 1:30 p.m. in the area of NW 12 Street and NW 72 Avenue.

MIAMI, FL — A Good Samaritan foiled a carjacking on Thursday in Northwest Miami-Dade, according to police. The suspect was identified as 30-year-old Angel Bruzon, who had not yet been charged. The elderly victim was driving a 2018 Jeep Cherokee.
Detective Alvaro Zabaleta of the Miami-Dade Police Department said that the incident occurred shortly before 1:30 p.m. in the area of NW 12 Street and NW 72 Avenue.
"The subject opened the driver door and attempted to pull her out of the vehicle," said Zabaleta. "A bystander observed the subject’s actions and immediately intervened, causing the subject to flee on foot."

He said that police set up a perimeter and arrested Bruzon inside a nearby business.
"The driver did not sustain any injuries," Zabaleta added.
