Happy '305 Day' From Miami Mayor
Miami's mayor may have just been looking for an excuse to show off the city's amazing weather. Did you get that mayors of NYC, Boston, DC?

MIAMI, FL — At first glance, Miami Mayor Francis Suarez was simply enjoying a cup of Cuban coffee in the photograph he posted on his official Twitter account on Monday. But anyone who bothered to look a bit more closely at the photo could see that Suarez may have just been looking for an excuse to show off the city's amazing weather. Did you get that mayors of NYC, Boston, DC?
The photo prominently featured the view from Suarez' office in Miami City Hall. You could see boats and palm trees over the mayor's shoulder under a beautiful blue sky.
It was pure tourism under the guise of a tip of the cafecito cup to "305 Day," a marketing holiday celebrated on the fifth day of the third month to correspond with Miami's famed area code.

"Is there a better way to celebrate 3/05 day in #Miami than with #305Cafecito?" his honor posited in his tweet.
South Florida is coming off the warmest February on record, surpassing the previous warmest
February set back in 1959 after this year's cooler than normal January.

Overall, the 2017-2018 meteorological winter season from December to February ranked as one of the top 20 warmest on record, according to the National Weather Service in Miami.
Message received by all the mayors up and down the Eastern Seabord who have been battling a powerful nor'easter and bracing for another round of snow, wind and freezing rain later this week.
Maybe we'll see them on the beach or sipping a cafecito in Little Havana's Versailles Restaurant.
