'I Need My Son Home': Miami Mom Raising Reward For Missing Son

Dasnnay Rosa, the mother of missing teen, Sergio Juarez, recently launched a GoFundMe fundraiser in hopes of finding her son.

According to Miami-Dade police, last Tuesday around 9 p.m., Sergio Juarez left his home along the 2800 block of NW 98 St. in Miami and has not returned. Police said he may be in need of help.

MIAMI, FL — The mother of a missing Miami teen hopes by raising reward money, it'll encourage someone to come forward with information as to her son's whereabouts.

According to Miami-Dade police, last Tuesday around 9 p.m., Sergio Juarez left his home along the 2800 block of NW 98 St. in Miami and has not returned. Police said he may be in need of help.

"He isn’t the type to run away. Everyone that knows me personally knows my kids are my life. It’s been eight days and still no one has spoken up," said Juarez's mother, Rosa Dasnnay.

In hopes of finding her son, Dasnnay launched a GoFundMe account to raise money for a reward.

"I want to see if offering a reward someone might speak up or lead me to his findings. Anything will help!" she posted on the account. "I need my son home safe and sound. I’m not giving up and I will not stop until I find him."

Juarez was last seen wearing a black hood sweatshirt, black shorts and carrying a black bookbag.

He's described as 5 foot, 7 inches, 150 pounds with brown eyes and black hair.
