Injured Baby Dolphin Rescued In South FL: Miami-Dade Fire Rescue
A baby dolphin was rescued after being hit by a vessel in South FL, Miami-Dade Fire Rescue said.

MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, FL — Lifeguards responded to reports of an injured baby dolphin at Haulover Beach just before noon on Saturday, Miami-Dade Fire Rescue wrote in a Facebook post.
The dolphin, which seemed to have been hit by a vessel, beached itself on the rock jetty.
Lifeguards found that it was unable to swim or right itself, MDFR wrote.

The dolphin was transferred to the care of the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission.
“It will hopefully recover from its injuries and be released back into the wild,” MDFR wrote.
