Jason Derulo To Sing National Anthem At Marlins Opener

The South Florida native will be joined by DJ Khaled and Poo Bear as the Marlins take the field against the Chicago Cubs.

MIAMI, FL — Jason Derulo will sing the National Anthem at the Marlins home opener on Thursday. The South Florida native joins a number of all-star performers who will be helping the Fish kick off the team's 2018 season. This year's opening day marks the first for new team CEO and part owner Derek Jeter.

Opening day pregame festivities begin at 11 a.m. with a pregame performance by DJ Khaled and Poo Bear at 11:30 a.m.

The Marlins will throw our the very first pitch of Major League Baseball's 2018 season against the Chicago Cubs.

Fish fans are encouraged to arrive at Marlins Park by 11 a.m. All entrances will open at 10:30 a.m. Parking garages open at 9 a.m. Click here to purchase parking in advance.

Derulo, a Miramar native, is a multi-platinum powerhouse who has generated more than 9 billion audio streams. His breakout single "Talk Dirty" has reached 7-times platinum status, while "Want To Want Me" and “Wiggle” went quadruple-platinum.
