1. The Broward Sheriff's Office (BSO) located the parents of a 5-year-old boy who was dropped off at the wrong school on Monday, late in the afternoon, after a search was launched. Child Protective Investigation Section is investigating the incident. (WSVN)
2. Organizations held a supply drive for the victims of Hurricane Ian at the Dolphin Mall on Monday. The donation drive will continue today from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. and shift locations afterward. Items needed include water, generators, gas cans, plywood, flashlights, batteries, tarps, nonperishable food items, and more. (WPLG Local 10)
3. A shooting occurred in Little Havana on Sunday night near Southwest Eighth Street and 19th Avenue. Witnesses say the victim was shot in the face by a driver in a pickup truck while at a red light. (WPLG Local 10)
4. State officials are warning residents across Florida to be wary of imposter crowdfunding websites and charity scams in the wake of Hurricane Ian, according to the Florida Department of Financial Services. Fraud can be reported to the state at MyFloridaLegal.com or by calling 866-9-NO-SCAM (866-966-7226). (Florida Patch)
