1. 6 people were killed after a 17-year-old driver, who was speeding while under the influence, caused a rollover crash in Delray Beach on Thursday night, authorities said. The crash happened just before 11 p.m. in the 14000 block of South State Road 7. (NBC Miami)

2. A tenant in Little Havana was fatally gunned down by a wheelchair-bound neighbor with a rifle over cigarettes, according to police. 58-year-old Eduardo Gonzalez was arrested and faces a charge of second-degree murder. (WSVN)

3. The U.S. Coast Guard has suspended the search for the remaining 34 people missing at sea after their boat capsized last weekend. The search ended around 6 p.m. Thursday. Coast Guard rescue crews recovered five bodies during the two-day search and rescue operation. (Miami Patch)

4. The Honorable William Thomas of the 11th Judicial Circuit of Florida has granted Miami-Dade County’s motion to join the Miami-Dade Expressway Authority (MDX) as an indispensable party in a lawsuit against the Greater Miami Expressway Agency (GMX). Judge Thomas’ recent ruling puts an end to a three-year legal battle. (Miami's Community News)

5. Miami-Dade’s film industry is coming back to life and reclaiming its reputation as being one of the most desirable shooting destinations in the world. Miami-Dade has its own incentive program, which offers a $50,000 tax credit to productions spending $500,000 and up to $1 million and $100,000 to productions surpassing $1 million. (Miami Today)
