Here are the top five stories in Miami today:

1. Former President Trump spoke out Monday evening against an FBI raid of Mar-A-Lago in Palm Beach. The former president was not at the premises during the search, although his lawyer was present. Republicans across the country and Florida, including Governor Ron DeSantis and Senator Marco Rubio, joined Trump in criticizing the FBI and Justice Department. (Miami Patch, Newsweek)

2. City of Miami Mayor Francis Suarez and Commissioner Joe Carollo announced the postponement of the Virginia Key homeless village on Monday amid community pushback and protests. Carollo accused anyone opposed to the project of "playing the race card" because the homeless camp is one mile from a once "colored only" heritage site. (Miami Times)

3. Urbanspace's iconic New York City holiday market is making its first national expansion to Lincoln Road District in Miami Beach this holiday season. The holiday market will run from November 15 to February 15, from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., in what organizers hope will become an annual tradition. (Ocean Drive Magazine)

4. A South Florida man accused of pulling a knife at a LA Fitness gym, 57-year-old Lenin Sanchez, faced a judge on Tuesday morning. The victim says Sanchez was being disrespectful to his girlfriend and recording her, which he says led to the altercation. A video of the incident has gone viral. (WSVN)

5. Miami Police Department is being sued by attorneys with South Florida Police Benevolent Association police union in Miami-Dade County circuit court after recently warning officials against firing officers. The police union is suing on behalf of four officers for what they said are violations to the "Law Enforcement Officers' Bill of Rights." (Miami New Times)
