1. A helicopter crashed Saturday into the ocean waters off of Miami Beach near swimmers and sent 2 passengers to the hospital. Both passengers are in stable condition. The incident was captured on multiple videos. A man from Chile said he helped pull the pilot and a woman out of the aircraft. Footage showed him on top of the chopper trying to open the hatch. Several other bystanders also assisted. (WSVN)

2. A Brightline train ran over a man Saturday morning in Delray Beach, killing him, after police said he walked onto the tracks. Saturday's death was at least the 10th involving Florida’s privately owned passenger railroad since operations resumed in November after a pandemic shutdown. (CBS Miami, The Palm Beach Post)

3. A major investigation is underway following the death of a Miami-Dade County inmate. 10 officers from the Florida Department of Corrections have been placed on administrative leave following the death and at least one has resigned. (WPLG Local 10)

4. Miami-Dade County Mayor Danielle Levine Cava tested positive for COVID-19 on Friday morning. Cava says she has mild symptoms and will quarantine at home, following CDC protocols. It is the second time Cava is infected with COVID-19 since the pandemic started. (Miami Patch)

5. A woman who died in an apparent murder-suicide in Boynton Beach has been identified as the sister of the late "Ponzi scheme king" Bernie Madoff, Sondra Wiener. Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office say they responded to a 911 call and found an elderly male and female with each deceased from a gunshot wound. (NBC Miami)
