MIAMI BEACH, FL — Miami Beach police are searching for a hit-and-run driver in a white Mercedes-Benz who left a 60-year-old pedestrian in critical condition over the weekend.

Ernesto Rodriguez of the Miami Beach Police Department said the woman was struck by a 2019 Mercedes shortly after 9 p.m. Saturday at 44 Street and Collins Avenue. The car had a Florida license tag of NQHC83 with likely front-end damage.

Rodriguez told Patch police have been unable to locate the car despite knowing the license tag number.
