1. Dr. Francisco Tarrazzi and Andrea Eastaugh, will be honored as the Lung Force Distinguished Physician Award recipient and the Lung Force Legacy Award recipient respectively at the Sunset Soiree on Saturday, June 4. Each year, the Lung Association in South Florida awards a local physician during its Lung Force Sunset Soiree event with the Distinguished Physician Award for contributions to outstanding and meaningful patient care. 2. State troopers are investigating a fatal crash that left four people dead. It occurred Saturday night on State Road 836 in Miami-Dade County. The crash happened at approximately 11:20 p.m. in the area of Northwest 107th Avenue, according to authorities. (WPLG Local 10)
3. A South Florida flooring company employee died after falling from the 13th floor of a high-rise condominium under construction in West Palm Beach. West Palm Beach Police and fire departments responded to a 911 call before 9 a.m. on Saturday after a worker had fallen at La Clara around the 1500 block of South Flagler Drive. (WPLG Local 10)
4. The NBA announced Saturday that it fined the Miami Heat $25,000 for "violating league rules regarding team bench decorum." "On multiple occasions, several players stood for an extended period in Miami's team bench area, stood away from the team bench, and were on, encroaching upon or entering the playing court during live game action in the Heat’s 111-103 win over the Boston Celtics in Game 6 of the Eastern Conference Finals on May 27 at TD Garden," the league said in a statement. 5. Miami-Dade County commissioners recently approved new legislation prohibiting retail businesses from refusing to accept cash payments for goods or services. The decision aims to ensure equal access to in-person retail services by the public and impacts over 200,000 businesses in the county. (Miami Today)

The county says the hotel will enhance Miami Beach’s Convention Center District "with new public spaces, improved connectivity, and privately-funded infrastructure and resiliency upgrades." - A Fish Called Avalon at Avalon Hotel in Miami Beach has a new happy hour deal with drinks ranging from $5 to $10. The deal is running 7 days a week from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. (Miami's Community News)
- A South Florida man died after a shooting on Friday in Miami-Dade County’s West Little River neighborhood. The incident occurred at around 6:20 p.m., near the intersection of Northwest 17th Avenue and Northwest 82nd Street, according to police. (WPLG Local 10)
