Miami-Dade Police Need Help Finding Hit-And-Run Driver
Police are looking for the driver of a Nissan Titan that struck a 60-year-old woman in Northwest Miami-Dade.

MIAMI, FL — Miami-Dade police are looking for a hit-and-run driver in a Nissan Titan that struck a 60-year-old woman in Northwest Miami-Dade. The incident occurred on July 19 as the woman was making her way across the intersection of NW 27 Avenue at NW 24 Street.
Miami-Dade police released surveillance video of the 2004-2009, four-door pickup truck and said is believed to have right front bumper damage and a missing headlight. Police said the woman was struck at 9:22 p.m.
The victim, who was not identified, suffered serious injuries, according to Detective Lee Cowart of the Miami-Dade Police Department.

"The vehicle did not stop and fled north on NW 27 Avenue," Cowart explained.
The woman was taken to Jackson Memorial Hospital's Ryder Trauma Center by Miami-Dade Fire Rescue personnel.

"Investigators are seeking the assistance from the community in identifying the hit and run driver and/or vehicle," Cowart added.
The investigation continues.
