Miami Man $7M Richer After Winning Big In Florida Lottery
Hugo Juliao of Miami purchased his winning CASH4LIFE Quick Pick ticket from an area Publix, according to the Florida Lottery.
MIAMI, FL — A Miami man is $7 million richer after winning big in the Florida lottery.
Hugo Juliao of Miami claimed a $1,000 a Day for Life top prize in the CASH4LIFE® Draw game from the Feb. 21, 2022 drawing at the Lottery's Miami District Office, according to the Florida Lottery.
Lottery officials said he chose to receive his winnings as a one-time, lump-sum payment.

Juliao purchased his winning CASH4LIFE Quick Pick ticket from Publix, located at Southwest 8th Street in Miami. The retailer will receive a $10,000 bonus commission for selling the winning CASH4LIFE ticket, lottery officials said.
The popular multi-state game offers two lifetime prizes, with the chance to win $1,000 a day for life or $1,000 a Week for Life.

Florida is the ninth state to join CASH4LIFE.
Since joining the multi-state CASH4LIFE Draw game in 2017, Florida has had more than 20.5 million winning tickets totaling more than $122 million in prizes. Additionally, the game has generated more than $122.3 million for Florida students and schools, lottery officials said.
