It's time to finalize your New Year's Eve! Here's your updated guide to fireworks, parties and other events around Miami.

MIAMI, FL — Miami's Big Orange has been hoisted into position to ring in 2019 while "Mr. 305" himself will be on hand once again to lead the Magic City countdown on Monday night. Whether you plan to welcome the New Year with Pitbull and 100,000 of his closest friends or take the party to your favorite restaurant, we’ve got you covered.

Pitbull's VIP Food & Wine Party
Pitbull's party takes over Bayfront Park on Monday night before and during his free concert. Pitbull's VIP Food & Wine Party is not free but also not required to enjoy the entertainment.

As always, you'll see the best fireworks display in South Florida if you stay until midnight. Unlike that other New Year's Eve celebration, here in Miami the "Big Orange Ball," rises at midnight — rather than falls — to a spectacular fireworks display just across Bayfront Park.

Ocean Drive Fireworks, Miami Beach
There will also be fireworks at midnight on New Year's Eve for all to enjoy along iconic Ocean Drive. You can see the fireworks between 5 to 15 streets. Ocean Drive will be closed to traffic starting at noon Friday, Dec. 28 and will reopen at 9 a.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 1. Miami Beach free trolleys will operate on an extended schedule to 2 a.m. on New Year's Eve. Click here to view the trolley routes.

Espanola Way
On New Year's Eve, ring in the New Year on one of the most iconic streets in Miami Beach. There will be a DJ spinning some of the year's best hits, a dinner show at Tapas y Tintos, party favorites at various spots and a big screen for the countdown to midnight.

ADDiKT at W Miami
W Miami’s 15th floor restaurant, ADDiKT, has a special New Year’s Eve promotion on the menu. Before closing out 2018, party-goers can enjoy a delectable prix-fix 5-course menu designed by renowned Chef Christian Quinones. Join us for our first round of seating from 7pm-8pm for $95 per person with a complimentary glass of select champagne or for our second round of seating from 9pm-10pm for $135 per person with an included bottle of select champagne for 2. But don't stop the party there...those who dine with us on NYE will receive a special discount to W Miami's NYE Wet Deck Party for $50, so make sure to head up there after!

Area 31
270 Biscayne Blvd. Way, Miami FL 33131Welcome the New Year with delectable food and drink at Downtown Miami’s Area 31. On Monday, Dec. 31, the rooftop restaurant will offer a special New Year’s Eve five-course prix fixe menu and access to Miami’s hottest rooftop party. Priced at $225 per adult and $75 per child 6 to 12 years old, (both exclusive of tax and gratuity), the special holiday menu by executive chef Alex Olivier will feature creative starters, delectable choices from land, sea and earth, and a Champagne toast at midnight. An exciting wine and cocktail pairing option, curated by sommelier Amy Currens, will be available for $100. The dinner menu will be available from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. On New Year’s Day, recharge your batteries and enjoy the first incredible meal of 2019 at Area 31. From 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., the Downtown Miami restaurant will offer its delectable breakfast and brunch menus to delectably welcome the New Year. Guests can enjoy chef Alex Olivier’s breakfast menu with global specialty dishes such as delightful chilaquiles with shredded chicken, queso fresco, shishito peppers fried egg and tortilla chips among others. After a night of NYE partying, a heartier brunch may be in order. Ariete
To cap off another memorable year, Ariete will be hosting an extravagant dinner party featuring a six-course tasting menu on New Year’s Eve. The first seating begins at 7 p.m. and is priced at $90 per person and the later seating at 9 p.m is $115 per person, excluding tax and gratuity. Vegetarian offerings will be available. AZABU Miami Beach
What better way to start the New Year than enjoying your last meal of the year at Michelin-starred concept AZABU Miami Beach? Join us in the Main dining room to close out the year with a special five-course pre-fixe dinner. If you’re in the mood for something a bit more intimate, join us in The Den for a special Omakase Dinner.

Boulud Sud Miami, the masterful creation of Chef Daniel Boulud, will offer two fine dining options this New Years Eve. Diners looking for a bite before a night out may attend the early seating ($85 per person) from 5:30 - 8:00 p.m. This three course menu offers delicious dining options from Stone Crab Salad and Black Truffle Risotto to Bourbon Orange Semifreddo and Florida Mango Mousse. Enjoy the countdown cover free this New Year! Crazy Uncle Mike's is the perfect place for a no-stress New Year’s. The brewery and restaurant will feature its signature brews and bites for guests to enjoy while listening to live music by the band J.M. and the Sweets — a local, five-man soul band known for their bluesy tones. The brewery at Crazy Uncle Mike's makes a range of signature beers in-house, spanning from Take the Sour Back, a grapefruit infused sour ale, to a Coffee Oatmeal Porter, a robust beer delicately blended with rich Columbian coffee. For those wanting an early New Year’s Eve celebration, come watch the final sunset of the year at Atton Brickell Miami. Guest and visitors alike can enjoy live music by the pool, signature bites, drink specials and spectacular views of the city.
