1. City of Miami was ranked no. 3 on "2022βs Best Foodie Cities in America" list by WalletHub, a personal finance website. 6 cities in Florida qualified for the list of 100 top cities. Affordability was one metric the list analyzed among several. (Florida Patch)
2. The Susan G. Komen More Than Pink Walk on Saturday in Hialeah raised more than $500,000 in the fight against breast cancer. Thousands of people participated in the event. Survivors shared stories of their battle on-stage at the event. (WSVN)
2. The Miami Dolphins lost 40-17 to the New York Jets on Sunday after the Dolphins lost another quarterback to injury and put rookie Skylar Thompson on the field. Miami Dolphins quarterback, Tua Tagovailoa, suffered a concussion last week against the Cincinnati Bengals, and is sidelined indefinitely. (The Palm Beach Post)
4. Nearly 100 women's rights demonstrators gathered Saturday evening in downtown Miami in front of the Torch of Friendship to support abortion rights. The rally was held ahead of the upcoming general election on Nov. 8. Organizer Kat Duesterhaus said activists are "ready to roll the vote to take this fight to the streets, all the way to the polls." 5. Family members are seeking answers after two men were found shot to death in Miami-Dade's West Little River neighborhood. The victims are 25-year-old Mark Cine and his roommate, 25-year-old Eric Watters. Anyone with information is asked to call Miami-Dade police or Miami-Dade Crime Stoppers at 305-471-TIPS. - A home on Northwest 131st Street caught fire early Sunday morning. The family is now in need of a home. Authorities are now investigating the fire. The home did not have smoke alarms and barely escaped. (WPLG Local 10, NBC Miami)
- Inter Miami CF fell 1-3 to CF MontrΓ©al on Decision Day at DRV PNK Stadium in Miami on Sunday. The loss sets up an Audi 2022 MLS Cup Playoffs Round One matchup against New York City FC for the MLS team. (Inter Miami CF)
