1. The contagious COVID-19 subvariant BA.4 was found in Florida for the first time in South Florida this past weekend. The first three cases were identified at Premier Medical Laboratory Services in samples from patients in Miami-Dade County, according to a news release from the South Carolina-based medical diagnostics lab. 2. Michelin Guide is finally making its way to Miami today. Winners will be announced in Orlando at 6:30 p.m. Miami will be joined by Tampa and Orlando in the guide. The guide is only in a handful of cities in the United States including New York City, Chicago, Washington DC, and throughout California. (Forbes)
3. Police have arrested a man a day after he exposed himself to a teenage girl at a bus stop in Pembroke Pines and began to masturbate, according to authorities. Luis Enrique Rodriguez, 25, was sent to Broward County Jail in handcuffs on Wednesday. (WSVN)
4. A Miami-Dade police officer, 27-year-old Javier Magarin, is charged with using Apple Airtags to stalk his ex-girlfriend. The officer has been relieved of duty and charged with stalking and installing tracking devices. (CBS Miami)
5. Miami city commissioners are continuing to work to show support for the Rickenbacker Causeway Project, also known as Plan Z. City of Miami Mayor Francis Suarez is sponsoring the effort. The proposal includes the elevation and re-alignment of the Rickenbacker Causeway, separated bicycle and pedestrian lane along the entire Rickenbacker Causeway and more. (Miami Today)

- The average daily hotel room rate in Miami for the first five months of 2022 is $369.51, according to an analysis from Bloomberg. That represents a 55.6 percent increase from the same period in 2019, when the average was $237.41. The increase comes as tourism comes back to life. (The Real Deal)
- Broward College is expanding its program offerings to another location with the opening of a new L.A. Lee YMCA/Mizell Community Center, which officially opened on May 20. It is the first partnership of its kind between a community redevelopment agency and a post-secondary institution. (Miami's Community News)
- Grocery giant Kroger has announced delivery options for grocery and essential items in South Florida. Customers will have items delivered directly to their homes using refrigerated vans. (WPLG Local 10)
- Hyatt and Gencom have revealed two more renderings and more details of their three-tower development on the Miami River, which will include a supertall tower. (The Next Miami)
