Missing Woman With Dementia Located
Juana Laudelina Afa had been reported missing on Sunday from the 600 block of NW 19 Avenue.
MIAMI, FL — An elderly woman who suffers from dementia was located safely in Miami, according to police. Juana Laudelina Afa was recovered by Miami Police Special Victims Unit detectives. She had been reported missing on Sunday.
"She was in good condition and she was released to her family," Officer Michael Vega of the Miami Police Department told Patch on Monday.
Afa disappeared around noon on Sunday in the 600 block of NW 19 Avenue.
