New York Giants DeAndre Baker Charged In Gun-Wielding Robbery
Former first-round NFL draft pick Deandre Baker of the New York Giants was formally charged with four counts of robbery with a firearm.

FORT LAUDERDALE, FL — Former first-round NFL draft pick Deandre Baker of the New York Giants was formally charged Friday with four counts of robbery with a firearm stemming from a gun-wielding robbery at a Florida house party in May hat included three high-end getaway cars.
In announcing the charges against the 22-year-old Baker, Broward County State Attorney Mike Satz said prosecutors have chosen not to prosecute cornerback Quinton Dunbar of the Seattle Seahawks stemming from the same incident in Miramar, Florida not far from Miami.
"There is insufficient evidence to charge Quinton Dunbar in this case," prosecutors wrote in a court filing. "Charges are therefore declined."

Baker surrendered to jail on May 16 and was released on bond while the investigation has been pending, according to the Broward State Attorney's Office.
After the robbery, court documents said Baker and at least two other people fled in a Mercedes-Benz, Lamborghini and BMW that had been pre-positioned for an"immediate departure" from the area.
Taken were $12,400 in cash, an $18,000 Rolex, $25,000 Hublot watch, $17,500 Audemars Piguet and a copy of a Richard Mille watch valued at $600, according to Miramar police.
Court documents said Baker met the victims two days earlier in Miami at a different party where he and Dunbar lost about $70,000.
One witness told police he saw Baker pointing a gun at one of the attendees and was directing two other people to take money and valuables from partygoers. At one point, Baker told an "assailant in the red mask" to shoot someone, court documents said.
