One Killed In Miami-Dade SUV Crash, 4 Injured
Five people were traveling in a white Chevy Tahoe when it crashed into a tree early Tuesday morning in Northwest Miami-Dade.

MIAMI, FL — One person was killed and four others injured when a white Chevy Tahoe crashed into a tree early Tuesday morning. The crash occurred in the 100 block of NW 1 Court at approximately 5:30 a.m. First responders did not identify the victims.
"Technical rescue crews went to work in extricating one of the patients," Lt. Lay Felipe of Miami-Dade Fire Rescue told Patch.
Lay said that five people were in the SUV at the time of the crash.

"Two patients were transported to the main trauma center by ground rescue units," he said. "Two other patients were transported to area hospitals for non life-threatening injuries and unfortunately there was one fatality."
Lay said that the cause of the accident was still under investigation.
