Here are the top five stories today in Miami:

1. A man accused of going on a deadly crime spree throughout north Broward County remained in jail with no bond as of Wednesday afternoon. Dale Spidle is accused of killing a woman and a 10-month-old baby boy in the unit next door to his condo in Coral Springs Friday afternoon. (CBS Miami)

2. More than a dozen vehicles have been found at the bottom of a lake in Broward County and investigators are hoping the evidence will help them solve old cases. It started Tuesday when a Bentley was pulled out from the lake. (WSVN)

3. Broward County deputies are investigating a crash that killed a 58-year-old pedestrian from Margate on Tuesday night. The incident occurred at the intersection of Rock Island Road and Forrest Boulevard in North Lauderdale just before 9 p.m., according to a news release. (WPLG Local 10)

4. A tower crane is being installed at the project site of Nema Biscayne in Edgewater, according to a photograph. The property will be a 588-unit apartment tower with a Whole Foods supermarket attached. (The Next Miami)

5. Deputies are investigating after a person was struck and killed by a train in Pompano Beach early Wednesday morning. Broward Sheriff's Office officials said the crash took place just before 3 a.m. in the 100 block of South Dixie Highway. (NBC Miami)
