1. Miami-Dade County Mayor Daniella Levine Cava has ordered the removal of all Russian flags displayed at Miami International Airport "effectively immediately," she tweeted on Thursday morning. The removal of the Russian flag would make a statement against the ongoing Russian invasion of Ukraine. (Miami Patch)

2. The Miami Jewish Film Festival has launched a fundraiser in to support people impacted by the Russian invasion in Ukraine. The fundraiser features a virtual presentation of the film "My Name Is Sara," the winner of the MJFF’s 2020 Audience Award. Tickets to stream the film start at $8 and proceeds benefit Greater Miami Jewish Federation's Ukraine Emergency Fund. (Sun Sentinel)

3. The new owners of the Miami Seaquarium will no longer stage shows with its aging orca, Lolita, under an agreement with federal regulators. Animal rights activists say the orca should live her final years back home. Seaquarium officials said they will care for her. (WFLA)

4. City of Fort Lauderdale has fired their Police Chief after a probe into employee complaints. City Manager Chris Lagerbloom said it's "in the city's best interest to separate employment with" Police Chief Larry Scirotto. No details were provided on the nature of the complaints from employees. (NBC Miami)

5. A new rooftop bar called Rosa Sky is now open in Brickell on on the 22nd floor of the AC Hotel by Marriott and Element by Westin. It stands at 4,000 square feet and is serving cocktails, small bites, with DJs spinning. There are a variety of sunset-themed cocktails and a small tapas-style dining menu.
