Royal Caribbean Crew Member Goes Overboard On Christmas

The U.S. Coast Guard was conducting a search Wednesday for a 20-year-old Royal Caribbean crew member.

MIAMI, FL — The U.S. Coast Guard was conducting a search Wednesday for a 20-year-old Royal Caribbean crew member. Officials said Arron Hough of the United Kingdom went overboard from the cruise ship Harmony on Christmas Day.

The search was focusing on an area 267 miles northwest of Aguadilla, Puerto Rico, according to the U.S. Coast Guard.

A Coast Guard Air Station Clearwater HC-130 Hercules airplane crew and the crew of the Coast Guard Cutter Resolute were both involved in the search for Hough.

"Watchstanders at Coast Guard Sector San Juan received a notification from the cruise ship stating a crewmember went overboard Tuesday," officials explained.
