FORT LAURDERDALE, FL — Billed as the Greatest Show on H20, the Hard Rock Winterfest 2018 Boat Show delivered a watery dose of holiday spirit to South Florida Saturday night with a best of 80s theme and some 100 mega yachts, barges, kayaks and every kind of vessel in between.

The annual event attracts more than one million viewers along the 12-mile parade route, making it the seventh largest one-day spectator event in the country and one of the largest events in the U.S. along with Macy’s Thanksgiving Parade, Mardi Gras, the Rose Bowl and Disney Parades.
Pop icon Huey Lewis served as this year's grand marshal while the 80s theme brought boats decorated from bow to stern in 80s favorites like "Pac-Man," "Top Gun," "Caddyshack" and even "Ghostbusters."

Selected by Readers Digest for its list of “100 Best Events in America," the parade has been named one of the top 20 Parades in the World by the International Festival and Events Association.
The Hard Rock Winterfest Boat Parade begins in downtown Fort Lauderdale near the Riverfront Hotel and Stranahan House then travels east to the Intracoastal Waterway before continuing on to Lake Santa Barbara in Pompano Beach.
