Here are the top stories today in Miami:

1. Broward County experienced several tornadoes on Tuesday night as a result of Hurricane Ian. Several planes were flipped over at North Perry Airport in Pembroke Pines after two tornadoes hit the area. Damage was present around the area including downed trees, power outages, and more. (WPLG Local 10)

2. Miami International Airport and Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport remained open on Wednesday, as Hurricane Ian approached Florida. The impact of the storm did cause delays and hundreds of cancellations for travelers as of Wednesday afternoon. (NBC Miami)

3. Officials are now offering up to $10,000 for information leading to arrests in the case of missing South Florida 6-year-old Jorge "JoJo" Morales. Morales was last seen with his father and grandmother around a month ago before he disappeared. Both are now wanted on felony charges of custodial interference. (WPLG Local 10)

4. The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) has resumed talks with Amtrak to have trains stop at Miami International Airport at the Miami Intermodal Center. The lease and termination clauses are currently being negotiated by the two parties. The talks come amid advances in transportation in South Florida. (Miami Today)

5. Chotto Matte in Boca Raton is launching Jungle Brunch this October, a new "immersive brunch" experience available to guests every Sunday afternoon. Planned dishes include Gambas a la Parrilla, King Oyster Mushroom Tostada, and more. (The Boca Raton Observer)
