1. Miami-Dade County officials held a news conference Monday to discuss mosquito control measures being taken amid the peak season for the county's Mosquito Control Division. Miami-Dade County Mayor Daniella Levine Cava urged residents to do their part to help control the mosquito population. (WPLG Local 10)
2. A Broward County man is facing charges after a woman's social media post about being kidnapped by her ex-boyfriend quickly received the attention of law enforcement. 63-year-old Albert Myers was arrested in North Lauderdale Saturday on false imprisonment and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon-domestic violence charges, Broward County jail records showed. 3. The Broward Sheriff's Office is seeking the public's help in finding a missing 33-year-old man. Police say Conroy Russell was last seen June 20 in the area of the 7600 block of Southwest Seventh Court at around 3:30 p.m. (WSVN)
4. Over 725,000 travelers are expected to travel to Miami International Airport between June 30 and July 4. MIA said it is currently averaging 145,000 travelers a day, up nearly 20% from the same time period during last year's holiday weekend. (NBC Miami)
5. Rapper Nehemiah "potemGottem" Harden tried to get away from police officers while riding an orange jet ski on Sunday in Miami, according to the Miami Police Department. Officers accused Harden, 20, of Jacksonville, of risking people's lives and property during the pursuit that started near the Miami Marine Stadium in Virginia Key, according to the arrest form.
