1. An increase in COVID-19 concentrations in Miami-Dade County's wastewater in recent weeks indicate an uptick in the virus in the area. "We're about 15 times higher from the low still 5 and 10 percent of the peak back in January during omicron," Jose Cueto, deputy direct of operations for the city's sewer and wastewater said to CBS Miami. 2. Authorities have arrested a middle school student in Pompano Beach accused of making a threat of killing people at his school. According to the Broward Sheriff’s Office, a 12-year-old student at Crystal Lake Middle School made the threats via text message, Tuesday. Another student then re-posted the message and warned other students. (WSVN)

3. Three prison workers have been arrested following the February beating death of an inmate at the Dade Correctional Institution, according to the Florida Department of Law Enforcement. Miami Herald identified the officers as Ronald Connor, 24, Christopher Rolon, 29, and Kirk Walton, 34. Miami-Dade State Attorney Katherine Fernandez Rundle is scheduled to hold a news conference this afternoon to discuss the arrests. (WPLG Local 10)

4. Police are searching for a driver responsible for hitting a family of three in Northwest Miami-Dade, killing a 2-year-old girl. According to Miami-Dade Police, a mother, father and the 2-year-old were hit in the area of Northwest 10th Avenue and 116th Street, at around 9:30 p.m., Wednesday. (WSVN)

5. Dirty French Steakhouse has opened in Brickell, yet another Major Food Group restaurant to open in town. The restaurant features waiters dressed in custom-designed pink tuxedos and an array of gourmet food including prime aged steaks, lobster ravioli, wedge salad, and more. (Eater Miami)
