1. Video circulating on social media shows a filthy Miami Beach littered with trash after Senior Skip Day. Volunteers grabbed bottles, cans, lids, empty bags and more to restore the beach to its full potential. They want to keep Miami Beach beautiful. (NBC Miami)

2. Black-owned business, QuikLiq, is delivering alcohol at any time of day. Order by phone. It was established in 2017 and officially launched its full-service mobile ordering and delivery app, available on iOS and Android, on February 24. Rather than work with big-box retailers to fulfill orders, the Miami-based business pushes the area's independent retailers. (Miami New Times)

3. New York City restaurant, Whitman's m, is planning to open a new location in Miami Beach. The restaurant was founded in 2010 and focuses on comfort food including French fries, burgers, and more. It also has veggie burgers, salads, Brussels sprouts and shishito peppers for veggie lovers. (WSVN)

4. A 26-year-old man was arrested Tuesday on accusations that he raped a tourist after picking her up from a bar in Wynwood while he was working as a Lyft driver. According to his arrest report, Kevyn Rojas, of Miami, picked up the woman who is from Texas around 4:45 a.m. February 27. Rojas is facing a charge of sexual battery on a physically helpless victim. 5. Miami-based Royal Caribbean has joined the list of cruise operators canceling stops to Russian ports during the country's invasion of Ukraine. The cruise line says it has planned alternative ports and will communicate itinerary changes in the next few days to guests and travel partners. (Miami Patch)
