A 55-year-old woman from Orlando has been accused of performing an unlicensed butt enhancement procedure near Miami, according to reports.

HIALEAH, FL — A 55-year-old woman from Orlando has been accused of performing an unlicensed butt enhancement procedure near Miami, according to multiple news accounts.
WFOR-TV reported that 55-year-old Luz Gomez was taken into custody by Hialeah police Monday after being accused of injecting a victim’s butt with an unknown substance for $2,000 in June of 2018.
Something went wrong during the procedure and the victim reported fever, pain and discomfort, the TV station said, citing the arrest report.

Wearing an orange jump suit as she appeared before Miami-Dade County Judge Mindy S. Glazer, Gomez listened to a Spanish translation of the proceeding through headphones.
"You were arrested for practicing medicine without a license," Glazer told the woman.

WPLG-TV said the victim was told by a cosmetic surgeon it would cost $20,000 to correct the procedure.
The news organization reported that Gomez was arrested after an undercover detective called to request a buttock augmentation procedure.
