2 Good Soles Shoes And Socks Collection Drive Yields Record Results
Pasco County Government and constitutional offices collected more than 8,000 pairs of shoes and socks for kids in Pasco County Schools.

PASCO COUNTY, FL — A community effort to help Pasco County students put their best foot forward wrapped up by collecting a record number of new shoes and socks for students during the Two Good Soles drive.
Pasco County Government and constitutional offices collected more than 8,000 pairs of shoes and socks for kids in Pasco County Schools. This year’s drive resulted in 2,832 pairs of shoes and 5,305 pairs of socks donated.
Since 2016, the Two Good Soles drive has collected 15,142 pairs of shoes and 39,762 pairs of socks, which social workers distribute to Pasco students.

“New shoes and socks are a big deal in a child’s life — and they can truly make a world of difference,” said Assistant County Administrator for Public Services Cathy Pearson. “Our seventh annual Two Good Soles event was a huge success, and we’re both humbled by and proud of the outpouring of generosity from our community and team members.”
All collected shoes and socks are being distributed to students enrolled in Pasco County Schools.
