2 Women Shot In Car With Children Inside In New Port Richey
New Port Richey police are investigating a shooting that injured two women Friday afternoon.

NEW PORT RICHEY, FL — New Port Richey police are investigating a shooting that injured two women Friday afternoon.
According to officers, around 2 p.m., Emmanuel Neville Lewis Jr., 19, got into an argument with the women he knew who were in a white Kia in the area of River Road and Veterans Drive. During the argument, police said Lewis pulled a 45-caliber handgun and began firing at the Kia with the two women and two children inside.
One woman was shot in the back while the other was shot in the arm. Both women were taken to Bayonet Point Hospital.

Police are searching for Lewis who fled the scene on foot north on River Road. He is described as Black, 5 feet 11 inches tall with standing dreadlocks (wicks) with red tips. He was wearing a blue hoodie, dark-colored shorts and dark-colored slides.
Police said Lewis should be considered armed and dangerous. Call 727-841-4550.
